It purpose is to attract the audiences to buy the product which a company has advertised through any elements. Big companies like McDonald, KFC, Samsung and even Adidas has not miss to advertise their products whether on television, YouTube or cinema ads. This proofed that a successful company is the one that have good advertisements.
Advertising is huge and variety. It can be done in many forms, for example the traditional way which is newspaper, flyers, billboards and the modern way like televisyen and internet.
What makes advertising so important for our business? It is an introducer to our product. It is an attraction to the audience to buy our product. Advertising is flexible, it can be cheap and it can be expensive depends on the medium we use.
So, to explain the quote "A Man Who Stops Advertising To Save Money Is Like A Man Who Stops The Clock To Save Time" why is advertising is related to time in this quote? It means the man just wasting his time by stops advertising for his business. Why? Because the customer will not be attracted to buy his product.
I have a friend of mine who bought a mall, it's a bit rundown but still can be enhanced. My good friend ask him to spend for advertising and marketing but he is too greedy to spend for it, he thought that it is wasting money. I think he is the one who wasting money because he has spend for building, renovation, equipments but not to advertise his mall. Until now, the business is just a small stall night market style but less vendor and customer.
So don't take it easy on advertising.
