6 Elements of Design In a Poster

A good poster design must have these criteria:
1. Line
2. Shape
3. Size
4. Colour
5. Value (Contrast)
6. Texture

Line
There is a line below the title "Poltergeist"

Shape
There is shape of a rectangle which is the television. Also, the button on the television is circle.

Size
We can see that the title size is large which the designer wants to highlight. The tagline is "It Knows What Scares You" is small.

Colour
As we can see the colour is cold, blueish portrays that it is night time and have a scary feels.

Value
We can see the contrast with the background and the object and title. The background is dark and the title is glowing white, also the little girl is sitting in front of the white static television also seems contrast.

Texture
Last but not least is texture. We can see it from the look of the poster it have a lining grain VHS looks which is the texture of the poster. The television static also can be considered as the texture.
